Hannover Messe: Chancellor Merkel impressed by harmonious interaction of man and machine

German Chancellor and Swedish Prime Minister meet AI-controlled table tennis robot FORPHEUS integrated with latest sensor and control technologies.

Dr. Klaus Kluger, General Manager Central Eastern Europe, and the entire Omron team were delighted to welcome the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her Swedish counterpart Stefan Löfven to our booth where we demonstrated how artificial intelligence, innovative robotics and sensing and control technologies can change manufacturing and production and how true factory harmony can be achieved.
