OMRON ranks in top 5% of EcoVadis sustainability ratings
OMRON Corporation has earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% for sustainability performance.
The EcoVadis assessment is a platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of more than 150,000 organizations and companies in 185 countries and 250 industries to improve sustainability and transparency throughout the supply chain. Using its own evaluation criteria based on global sustainability standards, the assessment evaluates companies' sustainability efforts in four areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Amid growing demand for companies to disclose sustainability information and implement sustainability initiatives in their value chains, OMRON received high marks in all four areas of this evaluation, leading to its Gold rating.
